WMEBooks Announces:
MYOB-2: The Complete Guide to Profitable
Powersports Dealerships
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 15, 2004) WMEBooks.com, an author services company located in Rochester,
NY, announces publication of its latest book, MYOB-2: The
Complete Guide to Profitable Powersports Dealerships written
by well-known author, John Wyckoff. His advice to powersports
dealerships? “Get out there and Mind Your Own Business. If you
don’t, no one else will.”
MYOB-2 is Wyckoff’s second successful venture into writing
about the recreational powersports industry. In the mid-1980s,
Wyckoff – industry expert, sales trainer, author and speaker –
wrote the first MYOB to help motorcycle dealerships improve
sales. Recognizing that it was time for an update, Wyckoff
contacted Anita Campbell to add relevant content on doing business
in a digital world as well as advice on powersports vehicles such
as ATVs and watercraft, which were not part of his first book.
Wyckoff writes a monthly column for Motorcycle Product News,
and Motorcycle Consumer News, as well as several other industry
publications. He has served on the Board of the American
Motorcyclist Association (AMA). In 1990 he won the “Key Award” by
the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), and in 2005 won the
Lifetime Achievement Award, 2005 Excellence Awards at the V-Twin
Expo.
“The publication of this book — from start to finish in little
over three weeks — is testament to the power of print-on-demand,”
according to WMEBooks’ President, Yvonne DiVita. “The credit goes
to Anita Campbell, who took on the role of editor, and to John
Wyckoff, whose determination never wavered. Their dedication to
helping make this happen quickly was one of the driving forces
behind its fast turnaround. We’re very proud to offer MYOB-2:
The Complete Guide to Profitable Powersports Dealerships in our
bookstore.”
