About Us

We do not come to you as print-on-demand printers, although that is how we will most likely print your book. We come to you as Authors Helping Authors. At WMEBooks…

  • You will maintain control over your work, from its title to its design to its market.
  • We will help you get to market faster—traditional publishing can take upwards of 1-2 years to make it to print—but POD has the ability to get your finished manuscript to print in
    2-3 weeks.
  • You, the author, will keep all rights to your work.
  • With WME Books, you have a partner to work with on getting your message to the right people, at the right time, via the right medium.

WMEBooks will help you market your work—to online bookstores, to offline bookstores, to conferences, large organizations, women’s groups online, specialty stores, and anywhere else that is appropriate for it to be.

Authors Helping Authors
—it’s our commitment to you and your work.

The Executive Team

Each of us has a writer inside, wishing he or she could get the right words out to tell their story. Your book could inspire, motivate, even fascinate, hundreds of people, if only you would invest the time to write it. A book unwritten is a story untold—at WMEBooks, we want to help you write that book, tell that story, no matter what it is.President: Yvonne DiVita
Yvonne DiVita is the founder and president of Windsor Media Enterprises, LLC, an “author services” company that specializes in print-on-demand book publishing technology, professional business blog creation and social media. Starting as a web content writer in the early days of the Internet, she later helped champion several technology start-up companies. After writing and publishing her first book, Dickless Marketing: Smart Marketing to Women Online, Yvonne decided to become a publisher herself. Today, her focus is on helping aspiring authors – especially those writing business books – make wise publishing choices.

Yvonne authors a blog, www.lipsticking.com with a focus on the women’s market. Her other blogs include a publishing blog, www.ahablog.com, a blog about blogging, www.wmeblogs.com, a blog about her authors’ books, www.windsormedia.blogs.com/books, and a blog about the print-on-demand publishing process, www.beneaththecover.com/author/btcyvonne. She also writes and manages www.scatchingsandsniffings.com, a petblog sponsored by Nestle’ Purina PetCare Company.

Yvonne is the current President of the Rochester Chapter of Women in Communications, VP of Web Communication for the Rochester Chapter of the American Marketing Association, and Past-President of the Rochester Professional Consultants Network. In 2004, she was honored by the Rochester Women’s Network as an “Up and Coming Businesswoman”. She is often quoted on the Internet regarding marketing to women, business blogging, and self-publishing, and is a frequent speaker of these topics at both local and national forums and conferences.

The art of communication includes more than words. The art of making books includes more than writing. Much more: typography, page layout, graphic design, cover design, printing, binding, to name just a few. Books should be a visual and tactile pleasure – to the author and the reader. At WME Books, our customized author services help you make your book complete.VP of Production: Tom Collins
After nearly 25 years as an appellate lawyer, Tom joined Windsor Media Enterprises, LLC and helped design and build the author services division, WMEBooks.com. The change flows naturally from his love of reading, writing, and visual communication.

Throughout his legal career, Tom’s work has focused on research and writing. In hundreds of legal briefs and memos, he refined his skills at telling a story in words supplemented by visual evidence. He passed those skills on to other lawyers through articles, a book chapter, and seminars.

In the late 1990s, Tom became convinced that emerging digital technology made it practical for lawyers to create and incorporate graphics into their writing – removing cost barriers to high quality printing and online digital communications. Since meeting WME founder, Yvonne DiVita, he’s been working on a variety of projects, all connected with research, writing and information design, in both print and online publishing.

Tom is currently working on a Masters in Informatics at the SUNY/Buffalo. In his spare time, he writes the Knowledge Aforethought blog, and is working on his own book, Beyond Words. At WME, he continues his love of writing and teaching as he works with Yvonne and Maryanne to train interested companies how to blog via WME’s Business Blogging Boot Camps.

In our WMEBooks.com division, Tom’s work is critical to each authors’ success. Using his many years of professional experience in writing and information design, he oversees the graphic design, page layout, and print production of all our authors’ books.
